As we approach the Holy Days of Easter, you are cordially invited to attend all the services listed below. The Temple of our Lord is where you leave it with a prayer for yourself, for the people you pray with, for your pastor, and for those who are unable to attend.
Good Friday: *Procession with the Holy Shroud……April 22nd at 5:00
Great Saturday:
Radiant Resurrection of Christ (Pascha)…………….April 23rd / April 24th –Easter Sunday
Paschal Nocturne (sung by the church choir)………..11:00 p.m.
Easter Procession………………………………………11:30 p.m.
Blessing of Pasky…………………………………………1:45 a.m.
Breaking of Lent (Rozhoveevlyanya) will take place in our church auditorium immediately following the blessing of Pasky. Everyone is welcome to participate in the sharing of the blessed food.
On Sunday, May 1st (Thomas Sunday) Provody: Divine Liturgy will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a traditional Spilne Svyachene in the church auditorium.
On Sunday, May 22nd 2011, our parish will be celebrating its 65th Anniversary & Patronal Saint’s Day officiated by His Eminence Metropolitan Yurij. A Banquet and concert will follow the Pontifical Divine Liturgy. All banquet tickets will be sold in advance only. Please take note that no tickets will be available at the door.

A sincere thank you goes to everyone who has contributed to the St. George Memorial Fund in the name of their beloved, deceased family members and friends. Your generous donation will help ongoing repairs and restoration costs of the church and its auditorium.
St. George’s Memorial Dinner (held on March 14th) honoured all members in the parish’s 65 year history who have passed on to the Lord’s Domain. The Memorial Dinner also recognized the living souls among us that continue to support the activities of the church community.
On this occasion, parishioners took the opportunity to celebrate Mrs. Olga Rozum’s 90th Birthday. May she continue to be healthy, as she still has many years ahead of her! Mnohaya Lita!
